Speeding drivers face ban after two offences in new crackdown

Motorists could lose their licence after only two speeding offences under
safety measures to be announced today. The government proposal would see
drivers caught significantly over the limit given six penalty points. A
driver with 12 points on their licence is disqualified automatically.
